Cassandra asked me to share what I have been doing to get such good outcomes, but I really don't think I have much to offer. I think it's pretty random, but I'll share.
My work requires a lot of standing, so as soon as I got home every night (for the first and second trimesters), I planted myself on the couch and put my feet up. I literally didn't get up unless I had to use the washroom or unless I had to grab something to eat.
I eat a lot. A lot. Before becoming pregnant, I was a runner who averaged 10k 4-5 times a week. I eat more now than I did when I was running. I have put on 40 pounds at this point (up from 140 to 180) and I think this has a lot to do with how great our babies are doing in the weight department. They are bigger than the average singleton at this point.
I have not had a single cup of coffee (caffeinated or decaffeinated) since November.
I have de-stressed my life in as many ways as possible (i.e., saying no to people who want me to take on more work, not getting involved in squabbles between friends or family, purchasing a doppler to ease my anxiety relevant to whether or not the babies were okay, etc.).
I don't know if any of these things have really worked to make this pregnancy go well, but it's a sampling of what my life has been like since conception. Honestly, I think whether or not a pregnancy is text book or not is pretty random and a lot depends on the chemistry of one's body, genetics, predisposition, etc.

30 weeks!
I had another appointment with my doctor last week and all was well with the babies. Our girl weighs a whopping 3.6 pounds and our boy weighs 3.1 pounds. I am doing everything in my power to get these babies to their fighting weights before birth and it looks as though it is working. My cervix is still 4.5cm and the doctor said that he doesn't expect me to go into labor early. Both babies are head down at this point so I'm on track for a vaginal delivery sometime within the next 7 weeks.
I'm not sure what I did to deserve such a text book pregnancy, but this miracle isn't wasted on me. I am extremely grateful and blessed, for sure.

Still Well!
Had another check up last week (at 27.5 weeks) and wanted to give an update. Both babies are doing very well! Our boy weighed 2 pounds 8 ounces and our girl weighed 2 pounds 6 ounces (both are ahead of their singleton counterparts at this stage). They were both breech at the last check up, but have both turned head-down again. They are movers and shakers, for sure!
Is this not the cutest little hand you've EVER seen? It's our daughter's hand!

25 weeks 5 days
Both babies are doing extremely well and measuring bigger than singletons at this point. This makes me so very happy as I have been eating a ton in order to help them plump up. They are both head up and kicking up a storm. It is the most miraculous feeling in the world!
